I have never put a pair of skis on in my life and I am new to skiing and ready for my very first mountain adventure.
I have had a beginner lesson or two, either in a snowdome, dry slope or on the mountain. I have learnt the basics like stopping and turning but need a refresher on how to do them before I progress to blue runs.
I am in a controlled snowplough, starting to become parallel sometimes. I can perform a variety of turn shapes and sizes to adapt to terrain. I am keen to work on parallel and moving to red runs with confidence
I am largely parallel, sometimes the plough comes back when it gets tough. I can ski faster on blue runs and use turn shape to control speed on reds. I would like to gain confidence to explore more of the mountain.
I am starting to carve on easier runs and no longer use snowplough. I ski in control on any pisted terrain and would like to become more proficient on more challenging terrain (moguls, variable snow & steeps)
